President Muhammadu Buhari, on Monday, announced his intention to run for a second term in office.
He made the announcement during the All Progressives Congress’s National Executive Committee meeting which held in Abuja.
His decision was made public by the governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El Rufai via his verified twitter handle.
“PMB has just announced to APC NEC his intention to run for a second term of office. Alhamdulillah. – Nasir El-Rufai.”

Confirming the development, Buhari’s personal assistant on new media, Bashir Ahmed on his twitter handle said.
