President Muhammadu Buhari has suspended Ibrahim Magu as the acting chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
This was according to the BBC Hausa Service which quoted a source within the Presidency.
Magu was said to have spent the night in a police cell following his invitation to the State House to appear before a panel investigating allegations of corruption against him.
