BREAKING: CJN Tanko Muhammad Down With COVID-19, Flown To Dubai

The Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), Ibrahim Tanko Muhammad, has become the latest top Nigerian government official to test positive for COVID-19.

Muhammad, 66, contracted COVID-19 few days after about 19 Nigerian Army generals tested positive for the virus.

The CJN’s COVID-19 status was reportedly announced by a member of the Supreme Court, Ibrahim Saulawa, on Tuesday.

Saulawa made the announcement at the unveiling of the national headquarters of the Muslim Lawyers’ Association of Nigeria (MULAN) on Tuesday in Abuja, reports The Nation.

The report said the CJN Muhammad was consequently flown out to Dubai, the United Arab Emirates, for treatment.
