BREAKING: Confusion As Police Protest 6 Months Unpaid Salaries In Borno

Operatives of Nigerian Mobile Police (MOPOL), on Monday, flooded the streets of Maiduguri, the Borno State capital in protest of alleged six months unpaid salaries.

According to emerging reports, the protesting MOPOL officers have hurdled majors roads in the state’s capital over the alleged failure of the police to pay their salaries and allowances.

The MOPOL, which is the paramilitary division of the Nigeria Police Force, are usually sent on special assignments to distressed areas or states in the country.

According to reports, the protesting mobile police officers are among officials deployed to the state by the Force to fight Boko Haram insurgency.
