BREAKING: Court Dismisses Suit Against NNPC Recruitment
The Federal High Court 6 sitting in Abuja has dismissed a suit seeking to stop the recruitment exercise by the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC).
The court delivered the judgement in the suit filed by one Pelumi Olajegbesi against the NNPC and two others.

Justice Okon Abang delivered the judgement in the suit marked FHC/ABJ/CS/389/19.
Recall that Olajengbesi faulted the age criterion placed on the recruitment of the NNPC noting that it violated section 3(e)(iv) of the Fundamental Rights (Enforcement Procedure), 2009 which protected the public interest of Nigerians.
He had written a letter in March to the former Group Managing Director of NNPC, Maikanti Baru, threatening to sue the organisation for placing an age limit on qualified Nigerians who would have applied for the jobs advertised by the corporation.
