The speaker of the Edo State House of Assembly, Justin Okonoboh, has been impeached.
Although, it is not immediately clear what led to the development, the Honourable was impeached by lawmakers during Monday’s plenary.
Hounourable Kabiru Ajoto has been elected as the new Speaker.
