The Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, SAN, disclosed this through his spokesperson, Dr. Umar Jibrilu Gwandu.

Gwandu stated on Tuesday that “the amount has been credited into the designated Federal Government account with naira equivalent value of the amount as of 10th May, 2021.”

Recall that Malami had signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the UK for repatriation of the convicted former governor’s loot.

Malami revealed that the money would be channelled towards the Second Niger Bridge, and other projects.
