The Shema mega petrol filling station along the Kubwa Expressway in Abuja has been gutted by fire on Wednesday.
THE WHISTLER visited the scene of the incident where it was observed that the fire completely destroyed a building housing the offices at the filing station.
At least six petrol pumps and a tanker were also destroyed by the fire.

Our correspondent gathered that the fire started from the tanker that was offloading fuel and eventually spread to other parts of the filling station.
As of the time of filing this report, firemen were still trying to put out the fire.
