Justice Odili is the second highest judicial officer in the country but her house was raided by security agents on October 29, based on controversial order purportedly obtained from a court.
This was widely condemned by the Nigeria Bar Association even as it vowed to get to the roots of the development.
Several calls have been made for those behind the invasion to be revealed.
On Tuesday, the Senate made the resolution after a point of order was moved by Senator Betty Apiafi at plenary.
The Senate also decried the unprofessional conduct of the security operatives and stakeholders involved in the matter.
