PDP Unveils Dino Melaye

The Peoples Democratic Party has unveiled Senator representing Kogi West Senatorial district, Dino Melaye.

Melaye was unveiled on Monday at the signing of the memorandum of understanding between the PDP and the 34 other political parties.

The event took place at the Shehu Musa Yar’Adua Centre in Abuja.

Last week, the senator released a new song to express his affection for the opposition PDP.

In the video, released Friday night, Mr Melaye chorused that the PDP is his home which he could no longer wait to be back to.

“PDP! Oh my home, oh my home, oh my home, when shall I see my home? When shall I see my PDP, I will never forget my home,” Mr Melaye sang with his signature gyration. “Oh my home, oh my home, oh my home, when shall I see home? APC suffer me o. When shall I see my PDP, I will never forget my home.”

Recall that shortly after his return from hospital in May, the Kogi lawmaker distanced himself from the APC wing at the Senate Chamber, aligning himself with members of the PDP.

According to him, the reason for his action was because the PDP senators showed him “love and care” when he was admitted at the hospital.
