BREAKING: Sound Sultan Dies After Battling Throat Cancer

Nigerian singer, Sound Sultan, has died at the age of 44 after battling throat cancer.

Sultan, real name Olanrewaju Fasasi, was said to be undergoing treatment for Angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma in the United States.

His brother, Kayode Fasasi, confirmed the shocking news in a statement on Sunday.

Another of Sultan’s musician brother, Dare Fasasi, better known as Baba Dee, also posted “inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un” on Instagram, which translate to “Indeed, to Allah we belong and to Allah we shall return” in English.

Sound Sultan is survived by his wife and three children.
