BREAKING: Supreme Court Declares Fintiri Duly Elected Adamawa Governor

The Supreme Court has affirmed the election of Ahmadu Fintiri of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as the duly elected Governor of Adamawa State.

In a judgement delivered by Justice Mohammed Datijo, the court held that the appeal by Senator Bindow Umaru Jibrilla, and the All Progressives Congress (APC) lacks merit and was subsequently dismissed.

The appellant approached the apex court after the tribunal and the Court of Appeal had dismissed his petition and the subsequent appeal for lacking in merit.
