BREAKING: Supreme Court Postpones Ruling In Zamfara Governorship Review

The Supreme Court has postponed it’s ruling on the application of the All Progressive Congress (APC) asking the court to review its earlier judgement on the Zamfara state governorship election.

A seven-man panel led by Chief Justice of Nigeria, Tanko Muhammad, presided over the review application filed by the All Progressive Congress on Tuesday.

Robert Clarke (SAN), represented the APC while Mike Ozekhome (SAN), represented the 1 to 140 respondents (Kabiru Marafa faction of the APC).

Recall that the court had nullified the candidates fielded by the APC in the Zamfara elections, on the grounds that they did not conduct primary election according to law.

The Abdulaziz Yari and Kabiru Marafa’s factions had been at loggerheads in the state prior to the elections.
