BREAKING: UK Condemns ‘Devastating’ Abductions In Nigeria

The Government of United Kingdom has frowned on the activity of abductors operating in the Nigerian territory.

The UK Minister for Africa, James Duddridge MP, stated this on Tuesday while reacting to a recent abduction in Kaduna state.

He noted that if such continues unabated, it would have negative consequences on stakeholders.

“Appalled to hear of the abductions from a school and hospital in Kaduna State, Nigeria. The United Kingdom Government condemns these abductions, which have devastating impacts on those affected. Nigerians must be able to access education and healthcare safely and without fear,” he stated on social media.

THE WHISTLER reported that over 120 pupils of Bethel Baptist College, Kaduna, were kidnapped by bandits on July 5.

The federal government had also expressed concern over attacks while mandating security agencies to “act swiftly” to rescue those abducted.
