BREAKING: Wife Of Plateau Deputy Gov’s Aide Regains Freedom From Kidnappers

Dorcas Vem, the wife of the Deputy Chief of Staff to the Deputy Governor of Plateau State, Silas Vem, has been released two days after she was abducted in the state.

The Plateau Police Command’s spokesperson, Ubah Ogaba, confirmed this to THE WHISTLER on Tuesday.

Ogaba disclosed in a phone conversation with our correspondent that Vem regained her freedom on Tuesday.

The victim, who is a staff of the University of Jos, was abducted near their Little Rayfield residence in Jos on Sunday.

Similarly, the police confirmed the release of a Director in the State’s Ministry of Health, Dr Samuel Audu, reportedly abducted in front of his Barki Ladi residence on Monday night.

“They both have been released today following the deployment of our tactical team,” Ogaba told THE WHISTLER.

He noted that the abductees were released at different locations and under different circumstances.
