British-Nigerian Actor, David Ajala, New Cast For ‘Star Trek’ Season 3

British-Nigerian actor David Ajala has been revealed as a new cast member in American TV series ‘Star Trek: Discovery’.

The announcement was made at the ongoing 2019 San Diego Comic-Con. However, the premier date is yet to be set.

Ajala will depict character of a Cleveland “Book” Booker, described as, “smart and capable with natural charisma,” Deadline reveals.

His character will have a “devil-may-care attitude that tends to get him into trouble as often as it gets him out”.

David Ajala is a British actor who was portrayed as Manchester Black in Supergirl and Captain Roy Eris in Nightflyers.

Ajala also featured in supernatural thriller series, ‘Falling Water’, which aired for two seasons.

The third season of ‘Star Trek: Discovery’, follows the crew of the USS Discovery as they encounter new worlds and civilizations.

Star Trek is an American science fiction television series created by Gene Roddenberry. The first television series, simply called Star Trek and now referred to as “The Original Series”, debuted in 1966 and aired on NBC.
