President Muhammadu Buhari, on Monday, appointed Abike Dabiri-Erewa as his Senior Special Assistant on Foreign Affairs and the Diaspora with immediate effect.
Dabiri-Erewa, who was a former broadcaster, was also a former Chairman of the House Committee on Diaspora Affairs and the House Committee on Media and Publicity.
Born in Jos, Plateau State, Dabiri-Erewa was elected into the House of Representatives, representing Ikorodu Constituency in Lagos State in 2003.
She was re-elected in 2007 and 2011.
