Buhari Attacked For Ignoring Killer Herdsmen, But Vowing Death For Ballot Box Snatchers
More reactions have trailed the statement made by President Muhammadu Buhari warning that anyone who carries ballot boxes, would be doing so at the expense of his life.
”Anybody who decides to snatch boxes or lead thugs to disturb the election, maybe that would be the last unlawful action you would take. I have given the military and police the order to be ruthless.

”I am going to warn anybody who thinks he would lead a body of thugs in his locality to snatch boxes or to disturb the voting system; he would do it at the expense of his/her own life,” the president had said.
In reaction, seasoned comedian, Atunyota Akpobome, popularly known as Ali Baba, wondered why Buhari would give such orders against Ballot snatchers but refrain from making same against killer herdsmen in the country.
The comedian also wondered why the president did not give the same order to pirates who steal works of creative artistes and the military officials who shoot unarmed civilians.

“Elections must really matter oooo. Because, I was just thinking, what if he had issued such strong message against pirates who steal works of creative artistes?
“What if he gave same caveat to military officials who shoot unarmed civilians?
“Or what if he gave that warning to herdsmen? Ok ok… he will deal with it after the elections. Ok, I get it. After the elections.”
