President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday refused to make any comment on suspension of Twitter in Nigeria.
During an interview on Arise TV, Buhari was asked about his controversial tweet which resulted in the suspension of Twitter, but the president only smiled at the question.
He was asked what he had to say about the Twitter ban and he responded saying, “Twitter? That I’ll keep to myself.”

Recall that the government suspended the operation of Twitter in the country “indefinitely” on June 4.
It said the ban was due to “the persistent use of the platform for activities… capable of undermining Nigeria’s corporate existence”,
The suspension came after Twitter deleted a post on President Buhari’s account for violating its rules.
The Information Minister, Lai Mohammed, criticised the US social media giant’s decision to delete the president’s tweet, calling it “double standards”.
