Buhari Condoles CAN Over Asake’s Death

Asake died on Friday morning in Abuja after a brief illness.
The President in a statement issued by his spokesman, Femi Adesina, in Abuja on Friday, commiserated with the family of the late Reverend, while praying that the almighty God would comfort all those who mourned the departed, and grant his soul eternal rest.
I’m deeply saddened by the news of the passing of the Gen Secretary of the Christian Association of Nigeria, Rev (Dr) Musa Asake. This is a huge loss to the Christian community in Nigeria. I pray that God Almighty will grant his soul eternal rest, and comfort all who mourn.

Recall that Asake had two weeks back led a nationwide protest against the killing of Christians by suspected Fulani herdsmen.
His sudden demise on Friday threw the Christian community into mourning.
