Buhari Departs U.S, Visits Jigawa May 7
President Muhammadu Buhari has departed the United States of America after a one-day working visit to Washington DC, the country’s capital.
The President departed the Joint Base Andrews Airport at about 5:30 pm Nigerian time for the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja.
He is expected to arrive Nigeria on Wednesday.
Recall that Mr Buhari on Monday had bilateral talks with U.S President, Donald Trump, on issues bordering on security, anti-corruption, economy, and trade and investment.

Meanwhile, President Buhari is scheduled to pay a one-day official visit to Jigawa on May 7, Governor Muhammad Badaru, has said.
Badaru, who made the disclosure while interacting with journalists in Dutse on Tuesday, said during the visit, the President was expected to commission some projects.
He said the state government had made arrangements to give President Buhari a rousing welcome to the state.
The governor explained that the `August visitor’ will inaugurate some roads and water projects within and outside the state capital during the visit.
According to him, the President will also flag-off the operations of the state social committee which was recently established by law.
