Buhari Has Cancer Of The Ear And Brain, Says Report

President Muhammadu Buhari may have contracted the deadly cancer ailment, a report by an online medium, News Express Nigeria, says.

Buhari, who left the Nigeria on Monday to United Kingdom on a ten-day leave, during which, according to the Presidency, he would visit ENT specialists to have his ears checked over what the presidency called “persistent ear infection”, is also said to have severe cough.

The online report was quoted as saying that President Buhari, who is admitted at the Royal Hospital, London has been diagnosed with cancer of the ear and brain.

The 73 years old Retired General, said to be having severe cough that may require further examination that could extend his stay beyond the initial ten-day period, has a country faced with the toughest economic downtown in history.

At a recent meeting with the media to mark his one year in office, the president who was swept into office on the gale of popularity reportedly complained to the journalists present that he was having problem with his ears.

The yet to be confirmed diagnosis, is said to be generating concerns in political circles in the light of the controversies that trailed the late President Umar Yar’Adu episode.

The Presidency has continued to insist that the Nigerian leader is as fit as the fiddle.
