Buhari In Kaduna, Launches First Nigerian-Made Drones

President Mohammadu Buhari will on Thursday launch drones indigenously designed and built by the Nigerian Air Force at the Air Force Base in Kaduna.

The ‘Tsaigumi’ Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) is expected to help the Nigerian military in detecting the movement of “killer” herdsmen and Boko Haram insurgents.

President Buhari is also billed to inspect 10 Super Mushshak aircraft recently procured by the Nigerian Air Force from Pakistan.

In addition, Buhari will also inspect the Nigerian Air Force surveillance aircraft, a Made-in-Nigeria project called NAFSA Eagle.
