President Muhammadu Buhari is currently meeting with Bola Tinubu, national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), and Bisi Akande, former interim chairman of the ruling party.
“President @MBuhari is currently in a meeting with National Leader of @APCNigeria, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Chief Bisi Akande at the Presidential Villa, Abuja,” the president’s Personal Assistant to on New Media, Bashir Ahmad, wrote on Twitter.

The meeting comes one week after the president appointed Tinubu to reconcile aggrieved members of the APC.
The development also comes three weeks after former President Olusegun Obasanjo advised President Buhari against seeking reelection, telling him to retire in 2019.
Mr. Buhari had earlier today met with former head of state, Abdulsalami Abubakar.
