Buhari Postpones National Sports Festival Over Coronavirus
The federal government has approved the postponement of the 2020 National Sports Festival, Edo 2020, in a bid to avoid Coronavirus (COVID-19) spread in the country.

This was made known on Tuesday by the Minister of sports, Sunday Dare, through his verified twitter handle.

Dare said President Muhammadu Buhari approved the postponement as a precautionary measure against COVID 19 spread.
The postponement is coming four days to the commencement of the sports festival.
