Buhari Recovering Vigorously, Fayose Out Of Touch With Reality – Oyegun

Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), on Friday, said President Muhammadu Buhari is recuperating “in a very robust manner.”

Oyegun said Buhari, who has been away from the country for over 50 days for medical consultations in London, will only return when his doctors certify him fit.

The APC chairman said this at yesterday’s meeting between the APC National Working Committee (NWC) and some governors.

Oyegun also reacted to statements credited to Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State, which suggested that the president was on life-support in the United Kingdom.

“We are glad to inform you that President Muhammadu Buhari is recovering in a very robust manner,’ said the APC chairman.

“We hope he takes it easy and when he comes back, I have no doubt at all that we will have a new and active period of activities.

Concerning Fayose’s statement, Oyegun said “if I respond, I will be dignifying him. At the appropriate time, people will answer him; at the appropriate level and at the appropriate time. He is in a different world altogether.’’
