Buhari’s Daughter, Zahra’s Wedding Postponed

The wedding ceremony of President Muhammadu Buhari’s 21-year-old daughter, Zahra has been reportedly postponed.
The wedding which was scheduled for this weekend, was reportedly moved to another date as a result of the president’ decision to have a low key wedding for his daughter.
According to a source close to the two families, President Buhari was not happy with the attention his daughter’s wedding has received in the media, particularly with news of customized wedding boxes as gifts to Zahra costing N44m.

Zahra Buhari was expected to official get married to her fiancé, Ahmed Indimi between Wednesday 30th November and Sunday 4th December, 2016.
Recall that an introduction ceremony between both families had earlier taken place at the Aso Villa, Abuja on Friday, November 18, with the wedding programme scheduled for this weekend.
Ahmed, who hails from Borno, is the marketing director of Oriental energy resources. He attended Global International College in Lagos for his degree foundation program, before competing a Degree in Information Technology at the American InterContinental University, in Atlanta, USA.
He also has an MBA in Internet Security from the same American institution.
