Buhari Sacks Head Of Civil Service, Danladi Kifasi
The Federal Government has announced the immediate removal of the head of service of the federation, Danladi Kifasi.
The termination of appointment was contained in a letter signed by the Secretary General of the Federation (SGF) Babachir David Lawal.
Although the letter did not officially announce a replacement, it was gathered that a replacement, which will most likely emerge from the southern part of Nigeria, will be announced later in the week.

President Muhammadu Buhari, however, did not give reasons for the immediate sack of Kifasi.
Kifasi was appointed by former President Goodluk Jonathan in August 2014.
According to an online platform, PRNigeria, the HoS who had served as Permanent Secretary in several ministries including Federal Ministry of Finance and Petroleum, has prepared for smooth handover in the event of the announcement of new HOS.
