President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of Balarabe Ilelah as the new Director-General of the National Broadcasting Commission.
Lai Mohammed, Nigeria’s Minister of Information and Culture disclosed this in a statement on Friday.
Mohammed said the veteran broadcaster’s appointment will last for five years.

The government had suspended Moddibo Kawu, as the DG of NBC and Professor Armstrong Idachaba was later appointed the Acting DG of the Commission in February 2020.
