Buhari Sacks NPA Boss, Reinstates Habibu Abdullahi

President Muhammadu Buhari has terminated the appointment of the Managing Director of the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), Alhaji Sanusi Ado Bayero.
A statement by the presidential spokesperson, Mr. Femi Adesina says that the termination of Alhaji Bayero’s appointment is with immediate effect.

“He is to hand over the management of the NPA and all government property in his possession to Mr. Habibu Abdullahi who has been reinstated as Managing Director of the NPA by President Buhari.” the statement read.

Adesina said that the President wished Mr Bayero well in his future endeavours.
Bayero was appointed by former president Goodluck Jonathan’s administration.
