President Muhammadu Buhari has signed instruments of ratification for a number of bilateral agreements, strengthening the Federal Government’s anti-corruption fight.
The agreement, signed on Thursday at the Aso Rock Presidential Villa, covers Anti-corruption, Tax Administration and Intellectual Property Protection, the Presidency says.
The Presidency described the ratification as an important step in line with President Buhari’s anti-corruption economic diversification vision.

The President signed four agreements with the United Arab Emirates (UAE), which includes an agreement on mutual legal assistance in criminal matters, agreement on mutual legal assistance in civil and commercial matters, agreement on the transfer of sentenced persons, and on Extradition Treaty
The ratification seeks to extradite Nigerians who abscond to the middle-eastern country after committing crimes in the country.
