Buhari submits ‘Service Chiefs’ names to the senate for confirmation

President Muhammadu Buhari has written to the Senate, requesting for the screening and confirmation of the service chiefs by the upper chamber.
The Senate President, Bukola Saraki, read the letter from President Buhari, at Tuesdays plenary, naming the service chiefs to be screened and confirmed.

Major-General Abayomi Olonishakin – Chief Of Defence Staff

General T.Y. Buratai – Chief Of Army Staff
Rear Admiral Ibok-Ete Ibas – Chief Of Naval Staff
Air Vice Marshal Sadique Abubakar – Chief Of Air Staff

As at the time of filing this report, the Senate had not fixed a date for the screening of the service chiefs.
