Bulama Takes Over As APC Acting National Secretary

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has inaugurated Waziri Bulama, as the Acting National Secretary of the party.

A statement issued on Monday evening by Spokesman for the party, Lanre Issa Onilu, said the inauguration, which took place at the party’s secretariat in Abuja, was performed by APC’s National Chairman, Adams Oshiohmole along with members of the National Working Committee (NWC) members.

The statement said Bulama would remain in acting capacity pending the North East zonal convention. 

“The inauguration of the new acting National Secretary was witnessed by the Governor of Gombe State, Alh. Mohammed Inuwa Yahaya; Governor of Borno State, Babagana Umara Zulum; Chairman of the APC Forum of State Chairmen and the APC chairman in Borno State, Ali Bukar Dalori among other senior party members,” it read briefly.

The office of national secretary became vacant following the election of its former occupant, Mai Mala Buni as Yobe State Governor.
