CBN Appoints 8 New Directors To Boost Operations

The Central Bank of Nigeria has appointed eight new directors to manage the operations of the bank.

The lender disclosed this on Wednesday in a statement seen by THE WHISTLER that all the appointments will take effect from August 25, 2021.

The apex bank said the bold move was based on the approval of its management.

The CBN said it has confirmed Mr. Osita Nwanisobi who has been acting as the Director, Corporate Communications Department since the retirement of his predecessor, Isaac Okorafor, in October 2020.

The CBN said it has appointed Mrs. Elizabeth Omolara Fasoranti, as the Director, Branch Operations.

Dr. Abdulkadir Abdullahi Jibril based on the development will become the Director, Medical Services.

At the Consumer Protection Department (CPD), Mrs. Rashidat Jumoke Monguno, has been appointed the Director of the department.

Based on the appointments, Mrs. Amina Habib, has become the Director, Human Resources Department.

Dr. Blaise Ijebor has also been appointed the Director, Risk Management, while Mr. Chibuzo Anthony Efobi, is the new Director, Financial Policy and Regulation.

The CBN Further disclosed that Mr. Benjamin Nnadi, will assume the position of Director, Reserve Management.
