CCT Adjourns Saraki’s Trial To Nov 5, 6

The trial of senate president Bukola Saraki by the Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT) in Abuja, has been adjourned to November 5th and 6th 2015.

Chairman of the tribunal, Justice Danladi Umar, while adjourning the case said Saraki should “go and relax”.

Saraki appeared before the court today, Wednesday, to face a 13 count charge which borders on false declaration of assets, while he was governor of Kwara state, preferred against him by the Code of Conduct Bureau.

At the resumed hearing, Saraki’s defense lawyer Mahmud Magaji, had appealed that the tribunal adjourn the case indefinitely.
