Goalkeeper Okiemute Odah made a big save to deny the Angolans a goal 10 minutes later.

Oliseh admitted afterwards that his wards did well in the game, but admitted his side is not yet ready to conquer the rest of Africa.

“I’m happy with the physical input of the players, playing in such high altitude, but I must say we are not ready,” Oliseh said.

Oliseh’s men will be facing Cote d’Ivoire in another friendly match before the 2016 CHAN in Pretoria on Monday.

The Nigeria delegation is expected to arrive in Kigali on January 15 three days to the Eagles’ first match of the 4th African Nations Championship, against Niger Republic.
