Channels TV Reporter Beaten To Pulp By Kogi Govt House Security

The Kogi State Government House security operatives, on Monday, beat a Channels Television reporter, Segun Salami to pulp.

The ugly incident, which led to the hospitalisation of Salami, reportedly occurred after one of the policemen claimed that the reporter was pointing at him while discussing his female colleague from AIT.

PUNCH reports that Salami is currently at an undisclosed hospital in Lokoja, where he is receiving medical attention.

The State Police Commissioner, Wilson Inalegwu, who confirmed the incident, said, “We take the conduct of our personnel seriously and you can rest assured that no sinner will go unpunished.”
