Chelsea Sign Torino’s Davide Zappacosta For €25m

English Premier League champions, Chelsea is close to completing the signing of Davide Zappacosta from Torino, Sky Sports reports.

The 25-year-old wing-back is expected to arrive West London Thursday to finalise the move, after agreeing in principle with the Blues.

Chelsea on Wednesday missed out on Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain who preferred a move to Liverpool.

The Stamford Bridge side then offered a third bid of €25 million plus add-ons to sign the Italian.

The Italian international, who joined Torino from Atalanta two years ago, made 52 appearances, enough to catch Conte’s eye.
