Chelsea V Arsenal: London Derby Ends All Square At The Bridge

Arsenal earned a deserved draw against Chelsea as both London clubs played out a goalless draw at Stamford Bridge in the early kick-off game on Sunday.

The Gunners who have struggled in recent time against their rival, were disciplined and resilient at the back and nearly got all three-points against the Premier League champions.

David Luiz was sent off late on for Chelsea after a late tackle on Saed Kolasinac.

This is the first time Chelsea have failed to score at home in Antonio Conte’s tenure.

The result is also Arsenal’s first point at Stamford Bridge in their last six visits, and also their first away point of the season.

Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey told Sky Sports: “We needed that against a top team. In recent years we have struggled here but we are able to compete against the best. We showed that we can create chances and on another day we my have nicked that.

“We needed that after the Liverpool game. We played in their half, higher up. We wanted to get a result and we got one.

“We are in a good place, we just have to build on it.”
