Mr Nnabu said the deceased died because they refused to visit hospital for treatment.

THE WHISTLER gathered that the state recorded twelve cases of the infection of late, although the situation has been under control, the commissioner said.

In his words, “We have directed that the affected persons be treated at no cost. Residents should immediately report suspected cases to the health facility nearest to them.

“Drugs had been adequately provided for treatment. We assure the people of the government’s readiness to check the outbreak.
