Founder of the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) Mercy Land, Orun-Ekiti, Ekiti State, Prophet Ade Ologbonyo, has called on the federal government to tackle the issue of insecurity that has been bothering the country in recent times.

The cleric, who said this during an interview with THE WHISTLER, said Nigeria’s major problem are insecurity, health, unemployment and education.

Speaking against the backdrop of the recent rise in the spate of kidnappings and crime in the country, Ologbonyo urged President Muhammadu to hastily resolve the nation’s challenges.

He said, “Our major problem in Nigeria is insecurity, health, unemployment and the education system. It’s like the government is taking their eyes off these things, as if nothing is happening.

“I have visited about fifteen communities in Nigeria. In one community, there was a man that was about to die because of just N3000, so I took him from the village to a general hospital and we spent just N7000 and he is alive now.

“We have a health centre, not functioning, no staffs! There is a challenge in the country and that is what contributed to the social insecurity in the country and the menace we have here and there.

“People are graduating, Corpers from batch A,B, C and some of them are desperate to get employment so they resort to kidnapping people, joining bad gangs.

“We’re not safe anymore,” he lamented.
