Udeogu was sentenced to 10 years in prison while Slok Limited was ordered to be wound up.

Kalu, who is the current Chief Whip of the Senate, was seen asking and pleading with prison warders: “Where are you taking us to now? Please don’t handcuff me. I will follow you.”

Kalu presently represents Abia North Senatorial District in the 9th Senate.
