Coronavirus: Death Toll Increases By 404 In One Week

The death toll from Coronavirus has increased by 404 to 3,204 in one week across 81 countries and one cruise ship harboured in Yokohama, Japan. 

According to statistics published by Worldometer on Wednesday, 93,573 cases have so far been recorded from the deadly virus.

The statistics show that only 2,800 deaths were recorded by February 26 but the number jumped to3,204  by March 4, an increase of 404. 

The most affected countries after China are South Korea (5,621cases, 33deaths, and 41 recovered cases), Italy (2,502cases, 79 deaths, 160 recovered cases), Iran (2,336 cases, 77 deaths, 435 recovered cases) and Japan (299 cases, 6 deaths 43 recovered cases).

The diamond princess cruise has a total record of 706 cases, 6 deaths, with 100 recovered cases. In total 51,043 patients have been reported to recover from the virus since its outbreak in Wuhan.
