Coronavirus: Wife Informs Lagos Govt About Husband Who Took Ill On Arrival From Spain

A Nigerian woman identified as Ogene Augustina on Thursday reported her husband who took ill after returning from Spain.

Augustine reported the illness in a tweet to the Lagos State commissioner of health, Akin Abayomi,  saying her husband flew into the country with Lufthansa airline LH568.

She raised an alarm that her husband showed symptoms of Coronavirus and may need to undergo tests, adding that she had tried all the hotlines given to the public for reporting the virus, but couldn’t get through to anyone. 

Good evening, my husband just came back from Spain today and he's feeling unwell. He came back with Lufthansa airline LH568 . Please he needs to be tested . Although he has isolated himself.the hotlines are not available and no one is picking @ProfAkinAbayomi @LSMOH @NCDCgov ??

Meanwhile, Spain is the fourth-worst country hit by the virus as the number of cases as of March 19 stood at 14,769 while the death toll increased to 638 with only 1,081 recovered cases.
