Court Adjourns Dasuki’s Case To April 9, Orders Release Of Passport

The Federal High Court on Wednesday adjourned the case between the federal government and a former National Security Adviser, Sambo Dasuki, to April 9,2020.

The court also ordered the court registrar to release his international passport.

Dasuki’s lawyer, Ahmed Raji had prayed the court to release his client’s passport for renewal.

The prosecution lawyer, Oye Atolade did not oppose the prayers.

The court consequently ordered the registrar to release the documents to Dasuki’s lawyer for renewal.

Justice Baba Yusuf fixed March 13 for continuation of trial.

Recall that the former NSA was standing trial over alleged possession of firearms and money laundering charges.
