Covid-19: 2Baba,Teni, Alade, Others Feature In ‘Stand Together’ Anthem On Mandela Anniversary

Nigeria’s Tuface, Teni and Yemi Alade are among African artists that featured in a new music video – “Stand Together” aired at the 18th Annual Nelson Mandela Lecture on Saturday.

Aside them, were artists from South Africa, Ethiopia, Morroco, Tanzania and Angola.

The video contains solidarity anthem against the covid-19 pandemic, which has ravaged the world.

“Nobody is safe until everybody is safe,” says a part of the lyrics stated.

“Listen to the music we played out at the #NMAL2020 to, a brand new song called “Stand Together”, which sees musicians brought together by @ONEinAfrica, in a partnership with @NelsonMandela and @MTVBaseAfrica:,” the Nelson Mandela Foundation tweeted.

A keynote speaker at the lecture was the United Nations (UN) Secretary General, Antonio Gurettes.
