Lagos and Kwara States have topped the list of 576 new coronavirus (COVID-19) infections recorded in Nigeria on Tuesday .
According to figures released by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Twitter, Lagos, Kwara and the FCT recorded 88, 87, and 82 cases, respectively.
The new infections brings the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the country to 37,801.
The NCDC said the total number of discharged patients were 15,677 the country recorded 4 more deaths making a total of 805 fatalities from the virus stood as of July 21.
The agency had earlier advised members of the public to practice preventive behaviors, to reduce the risk of spreading COVID19 to the elderly and vulnerable in the society by observing physical distancing, wearing a face mask, and washing hands frequently.
