COVID-19: Lagos Recoveries Close To 2,000 With 29 New Discharges

The number of coronavirus patients that have recovered in Lagos State has increased to 1,993.

This is after the state discharged 29 more patients from its isolation centres on Tuesday.

Giving the updates, the state governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu said 7 females and 22 males, including 5 foreign nationals were discharged from the state isolation facilities to reunite with the society.

“The patients; 6 from Gbagada, 1 from Agidingbi, 7 from Eti-Osa (LandMark) 9 from Onikan and 6 from Mainland Infectious Disease Hospital Isolation Centres were discharged after full recovery.”

He however advised residents to take responsibility and not be caught off guard.

The governor urged lagosians to wear facemasks, observe physical distancing, practice hand hygiene and use of multivitamin to support thier immune system.

Meanwhile the state has 13,538 confirmed cases and 176 deaths.
