Covid-19: NCDC Conducts 251,893 Tests In 58 Labs
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control on Thursday said Nigeria has tested 251,893 samples for COVID-19 as of Wednesday.
The centre disclosed this in a document titled, ‘COVID-19 situation report 145 published on its website on Thursday

It said, out of the figure, a total of 38,344 tests returned positive.
As of the time of compiling the report, the centre said 15,815 patients had been discharged, leaving 21,716 active cases.
The report also stated that one hundred and thirty-eight (138) cases were discharged in the last 24 hours in ten states – FCT (34), Kano (27), Edo (25), Ogun (17), Rivers (12), Kaduna (8), Bayelsa (5), Gombe (5), Ebonyi (4) and Anambra (1).
Sadly, eight deaths were recorded in the last 24 hours in four states – Edo (4), Ebonyi (2), Abia (1) and FCT (1).
