COVID-19: Nigeria Confirms Two Deaths, 385 New Case

Nigeria on Monday recorded two additional fatalities from the coronavirus pandemic with 385 fresh cases reported across 12 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

This was contained in an update shared on the website of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).

The data indicates that Nigeria’s total infection from the pandemic currently stands at 217866 while the fatality toll increased to 2, 982 since the first COVID-19 case was reported in late February 2020.

Cases By States:

Out of the 385 new cases, the FCT recorded 116 cases, followed by Delta with 115 cases, while Akwa ibom State ranked third with 41 cases.

Ogun recorded 33 cases , Cross River had 23 cases, Edo 23, Kaduna 10, Rivers 7, Plateau 5, Bayelsa 5, Oyo 5, and Kano 2 cases.
